Salke Directed by: Peter Werner Transcript When a robbery attempt at a sporting goods store turns into a violent hostage stand-off, officer Hechler volunteers to go in -- pushed by a desire to prove himself in the eyes of fellow detectives, including Stevens. Disguised as a paramedic, he enters the store along with Teresa to check on the hostages and gauge the resolve of the gunmen, but when he is recognized by one of the robbers, Hechler finds himself with a gun to his head -- depending upon one of his fallen heroes and former TV cop, Les Van Buren.
