While investigating a deadly accident involving a station wagon and a commercial truck, whose driver alleges the
crash was caused by a third car, Detectives Stevens and
Smith discover the collision may be the work of an insurance fraud ring. With the help of claims investigator and Fearless' former flame, Vicki Pineda, they trace the vehicle back to
the suspected engineer behind the fatal highway scam.
